Job Title : Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Engineer

Job Type : W2 / C2C / 1099

Experience : 510 Years

Location : Cranston Rhode Island

Responsibilities:

Must have 35 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) with Titan 3D printers.
Working knowledge of all 3D Printing processes (existing and emerging).
Proficient in SolidWorks Rhino Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Eager to learn and explore advanced 3D composites textile processes and other additive manufacturing processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective team player with strong criticalthinking skills.
Create efficient STL 3D print files and develop 3D printing processes that are manufacturing ready.
Create new products using varied composites textiles coatings foam and additive manufacturing technologies.
Test newly created products and raw materials.
Document processing conditions test results and other criticaltoquality data.
Develop best practice SOPs work instructions (WIs) etc. for additive manufacturing processes.
Generate optimized build files to produce highquality parts in minimum time with maximum consistency.
Monitor builds on a varying schedule.
Research new 3D printable materials and leverage those materials into new technical products.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in a relevant materials science discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
