What You'll Do

• Tackle mid to expert-level diagnosis and repair tasks, uncovering the root causes and fixing issues across equipment.
• Seek, identify, and procure parts and supplies essential for maintenance projects.
• Independently align with industry benchmarks to perform effective maintenance actions.
• Engage with equipment through diverse machine operations such as lathes, grinders, and welders to manufacture and refine components.
• Commit to maintaining a pristine working environment by adhering to 5S and housekeeping practices.
• Champion and engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) processes, evaluating outcomes and achieving cost efficiencies.
• Manage records, update historical data utilizing the CMMS.
• Delve deep into control systems troubleshooting to solve intricate hardware and software snags.
• Employ predictive maintenance tools to gather relevant data for performance analysis.
• Lead, guide, and mentor junior team members while embarking on your training journey.
• Participate in self-paced and on-the-job professional growth programs to drive career advancement.
• Strictly adhere to all safety policies and maintain situational awareness to identify potential hazards.

Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Associates degree with a technical flair and 3 years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of experience.
• Sound knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems for adept diagnosis and repair.
• Skilled in the use of essential hand and specialized tools.
• Travel might be necessary based on job requirements.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use close vision and color vision. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
