What You'll Do
- Tackle mid to expert-level diagnosis and repair tasks, uncovering the root causes and fixing issues across equipment.
- Seek, identify, and procure parts and supplies essential for maintenance projects.
- Independently align with industry benchmarks to perform effective maintenance actions.
- Engage with equipment through diverse machine operations such as lathes, grinders, and welders to manufacture and refine components.
- Commit to maintaining a pristine working environment by adhering to 5S and housekeeping practices.
- Champion and engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) processes, evaluating outcomes and achieving cost efficiencies.
- Manage records, update historical data utilizing the CMMS.
- Delve deep into control systems troubleshooting to solve intricate hardware and software snags.
- Employ predictive maintenance tools to gather relevant data for performance analysis.
- Lead, guide, and mentor junior team members while embarking on your training journey.
- Participate in self-paced and on-the-job professional growth programs to drive career advancement.
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies and maintain situational awareness to identify potential hazards.
Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Associates degree with a technical flair and 3 years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of experience.
- Sound knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems for adept diagnosis and repair.
- Skilled in the use of essential hand and specialized tools.
- Travel might be necessary based on job requirements.

The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
