Position will start out in person, with the possibility of remote work once you complete training.

The primary responsibility of the Applications Engineer is to aid end users with product selection, product performance and technical information, identifying innovative solutions to meet the end-users needs, and supporting marketing initiatives. The applications engineer will also be involved in development and mapping of customer specific projects through PNID, creating drawing, selecting components, and ensuring projects meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead for taking customer applications and projects from concept to completion
• Responsible for form, fit, and function of products within a custom solutions project
• Support sales team with competitive sales calls and non-customer facing sales activities during all phases of the sales cycle.
• SME in our key industries encompassing product application, take and perform specialized trainings, and market trends
• Prepare and deliver technical training presentations that explain products or services to internal and customers, including providing relevant application examples.
• Be the expert on offerings and process & instrumentation applications.
• Participate and support the sales strategy development of key industries.
• Obtain and maintain field engineer certification through corporate to be a liaison between customers, the distributor network, and the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in an Engineering discipline- Mechanical Preferred
• • 2-5 years of experience in a related engineering capacity (In Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or other related discipline is desirable)
• Related experience with CAD preferred
• Technical support and fabrication experience is preferred- with direct customer contact is desirable in a sales, service, technical support, or field engineering capacity.
