For which tasks (responsibilities)?

What will you do?

• Evaluate and translate client needs and ideas into mood boards, collecting references, and outlining the art style.

• Create concept art, storyboards, or animatics for the projects.

• Onboard the art team on the project, providing relevant and inspiring references for the further stages of production.

• Lead the overall creative direction of the project, providing iterative internal feedback, as well as implementing feedback from the client.

• Ensure aesthetic standards, visual consistency, and quality of all art elements in the projects.

• Work with the production team to iteratively plan and execute all art deliverables.

• Effectively collaborate with the art team, producer, and stakeholders to maximize overall performance. 

What kind of professional are we looking for?

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related major. 

• A solid understanding of art fundamentals (Excellent eye for lighting, color, composition, perspective, proportion, human and creature anatomy, portrait, illustration, architecture, etc.)

• Excellent visualization and conceptualization skills.

• Strong and versatile concept art portfolio (both environment and character concept art).

• Basic understanding of other art specializations, such as cinematography (shots, angles, camera movement, frame composition), 3D art and animation.

• Ability to direct asset creation to optimize them to support gameplay, style, and narrative principles.

• Ability to work and review artworks in different art styles and levels of detail (both stylized and realistic).

• Open attitude, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment with tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of industry-standard software (Photoshop, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, etc...)

• Languages: Native Ukrainian and B2 English.

Would be a plus:

• Art-related experience in the video game industry

• Team leadership experience

• Experience working with junior artists

• Experience working in an outsourcing company
