Assembler Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembler receives instructions and work orders for the job and performs the tasks required.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to production specifications from work order kits.
- Tests and calibrates parts to meet tolerances and product specifications for customer needs based on the work order.
- Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs, as necessary.
- Clocks in and out from job orders to ensure correct labor entries.
- Maintains a daily test booth gauge log whenever a test booth is used to set a valve.
- Maintains product traceability by applying the serial number to the part.
- Maintains Quality Assurance trace ability by applying their own individual stamp to the part, during the assembly process, the setting process, and testing process.
Assembler Skills and Requirements:
- Work involves varying degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable.
- Attention and care required preventing injury to others when performing maintenance work.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math, computer, and typing skills
- High School Diploma required
