Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Bridal Stylist to help our soon-to-be brides choose their wedding dresses and create unique looks from head to toe. To be successful in this role, you should combine your fashion knowledge with a customer service attitude to help our clients prepare themselves for their special day. Schedule is Friday-Saturday with an additional weekday (Tues-Thurs) 10am-6pm. This position is hourly and commission based. This position provides an excellent learning experience and opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Making sure store is in good condition, cleaning when needed. (Emptying trash, vacuuming, straightening bridal gowns)
• Booking appointments through online system and via phone
• Answering emails and phone calls
• Steaming bridal gowns
• Recommending bridal gowns based on each bride's body type and personal taste
• Styling bridal looks with jewelry, veils, gloves, and headpieces
• Taking bride's measurements to find the most accurate sizing
• Take appointments when Bridal Stylists are not able to
• Filing documents

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a great sense of style
• Is self-motivated
• Is energenetic
• Can learn quickly
• Is organized
• Is eager to work with brides and create wonderful relationships
• Experience in retail, preferably in a luxury boutique.
• Excellent communication skills
• Social media experience is a plus
• Sewing skills are a plus

Compensation

Pay is anywhere from $12-17/hr with commission included. Additional opportunity for gratuity is available as well.
