Associate Director - Non-Degree Programming (Administrative Professional 2 - MR12)

The Associate Director is responsible for building new and maintaining existing relationships with industry and academic partners. The position will be expected to align program growth with industry sectors that are experiencing high growth or that align with anticipated industry needs. In addition, the Associate Director will have supervisory responsibility over program specialists, coordinators, and instructors in CPE. Performance metrics will include financial and program participation goals. The long-term goal for this position is to boost current program offerings and develop new programs to meet community and industry partner needs. These programs will be offered in both open and closed enrollment formats. Lastly, and most significantly, the position will have key responsibility for driving revenue generation goals that support the non-degree operation of CPE, through both the work of the incumbent and the leadership of the programming team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide needs assessment; proposal writing; oversight of curriculum and course development; evaluate scope of projects and allocate resources appropriately; advise marketing strategies and outcomes.
Collaborate with campus faculty and staff to identify programs and deliver exceptional programming designed to meet the needs of key industry sectors and corporate stakeholders.
Work with the director of CPE to create a shared vision that recognizes program development as the key function that drives growth and sustainability. The position will be a marketer and promoter of capabilities and will be skilled at creative solution problem solving.
Provide direct oversight of program staff within CPE. This role will be responsible for programmatic goal setting, staffing assignments, collaborating on strategy, and coaching of existing (and future) CPE program staff.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years in an educational setting, or closely related field; demonstrable supervisory experience; experience in a public facing program planning and facilitation role; demonstrated track record of needs analysis and program development; and budgetary planning and oversight.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Higher Education, Adult Education, Public Administration, or related field and 8+ years relevant experience in an educational setting, managing programs and projects; understanding of workforce and economic development initiatives and strategies; and understanding of credentialing and corporate education programs.
