Job Description

This position is located in Orange County, California. This role is responsible for developing and executing test lab planning, schedules, set up and conducting of developmental and certification testing for both Seats and Furniture. Test types include but are not limited to component, static, dynamic, abuse, cycle and flammability.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES-Essential Functions(Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)


Set-up, conduct and monitor dynamic, static and abuse/cycle testing, including data acquisition systems.
Maintain test facility (cleanliness, organization, supplies, etc.)
Maintain test lab conference room
Maintain test equipment and fixtures in good working order including calibrations, spare parts, procurement, maintenance etc.
Read and understand test plans
Design and build/oversee build test fixtures/platforms
Create and maintain internal test facility manual, procedures, work instructions, etc.
Maintain and manage internal testing schedule
Coordinate with engineers
Keep up to date with the latest industry testing methodologies and testing equipment
Monitor and document test results
Oversee any test technicians
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Technical degree (Preferred), or 4 additional years of experience
Experience:
At least 4 years testing experience
Professional Skills:
Electro/mechanical background
Knowledge of FAA/EASA requirements a plus
IMechanically inclined (familiar with shop tools)
CAD experience
Script/Code experience for tool set-up a plus
