Job Responsibilities The Biology Instructor position at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College involves delivering systematically planned and provided instruction in biology courses. The role includes designing and developing curriculum, evaluating student performance, and advising students.
The instructor is responsible for classroom, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction, maintaining academic progress records, and grading. They also participate in student recruitment, development, and college or community service activities.
The position requires adherence to college policies and procedures, with general supervision by the Dean. Classes may vary in format and schedule, to include face-to-face, hybrid, online, and evenings.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Master's degree with 18 hours graduate level (500 and above) BIO course work.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred concentration in Anatomy and Physiology.
Additional Comments This position is on-campus. This position may start as early as Summer 2024 or Fall 2024.
