Job Description

Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank is a community bank in New Hampshire that serves the financial needs of business and consumers in the area. Currently, we are looking for a Branch Manager to join our team at our Piermont Office. The Branch Manager assumes broad responsibility for the management of their office by following established policies and procedures, supervising staff on their day-to-day operations, working with branch staff on the expectations for effective customer service, and is a resource for staffing issues.

Responsibilities of a Branch Manager include:

• Allocation and coordination of office work flow
• Monitors tellers to ensure compliance with all of the bank's policies and procedures
• Offer products and services to customers in need of banking solutions
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all bank products and services to help facilitate a strong sales culture within the office
• Assists tellers in locating cash discrepancies, managing unusual transactions, and answering more difficult customer inquiries
• Provide account services to customers including but not limited to standard procedures of both Tellers and CSRs; opens new accounts and maintains changes to existing accounts
• Guides and advises subordinates in the more complex areas of their work; supports the growth and development of employees
• Oversees general maintenance of the branch building to ensure a safe, clean environment for staff and customers
• Creates and adheres to a branch budget
• Provides and maintains a professional, business-like atmosphere within the office

Branch Manager Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Managerial experience
• Ability to use and learn computer-based systems
• Cash handling experience
• Attention to detail
