To accompany the worship music ministry of Unity Baptist Church in Culpeper, Va, in a way that is consistent with our mission, values, and our UBC mission statement. Responsibilities:
Accompanying our Sunday Morning music ministry on the piano and/or organ and attend one (1) weekly night rehearsal. Sunday morning worship service for the hours of 9:00am-11:00am. Other responsibilities will be disclosed during the interview process. Please attach your resume.

In conjunction with other music leaders, select and plan music for one Sunday service, as well as midweek and special services as applicable throughout the year.

Qualifications:
Ability to read music and/or play by ear in all 12 keys (preference towards the latter)
Possess leadership skills
Self-motivated
Competent with church music accompaniment on the organ and piano.
Willingness to receive and process feedback not only from Unity and leadership but members of the congregation and music ministry
Ability to organize, coordinate, and motivate musicians
Strong team player who possesses a willingness to work with the rest of the Unity leadership
Dependable, responsible, and creative
Ability to listen to and communicate with people of all ages and musical backgrounds
Interest in a wide range of musical experiences
Understanding and experience of the flow, style, and substance of Christian worship.
