Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative oversight of the program
- Provider leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team
- Ensure that the program’s clinical approach remains behavioral and skills-based and in line with Evolve’s mission and values
- Collaborate with Human Resources to oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of clinical and non-clinical staff
- Provide direct supervision of all program staff to ensure quality, clinical excellence, and safety measures are maintained
- Ensure that staff receive adequate training upon hire as well as ongoing training, per Evolve internal training guidelines and licensing and accreditation standards
- Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with program staff
- Monitor employee performance and facilitate 90-day and annual reviews; provide corrective feedback and disciplinary action, as needed
- Review the medical records for all clients and ensure that they are complete and adherent to Evolve, licensing, and accreditation standards
- Review and cosign clinical documentation in the client's medical records; provide corrective feedback to the relevant staff member to ensure adherence to all standards
- Maintain the program schedule and ensure that it adheres to Evolve’s program schedule requirements
- Facilitate weekly Treatment Team meetings, compile behavioral feedback for clients, and ensure meeting notes are taken and distributed
- Work with the Facility Nurse to maintain meeting attendance and training records
- Provide clinical training twice per month during Treatment Team meetings
- Provide comprehensive 1:1 training for new Primary Therapists; ensure that new Primary Therapists receive required training from other departments (Medical Records, IT, etc.)
- Ensure that discharge planning and insurance authorization is being coordinated effectively by the Primary Therapist for each client
- Cover individual and family therapy sessions as needed during Primary Therapist absences
- Facilitate Treatment Progress group and two DBT Skills Groups weekly
- Ensure that 8 weeks of rotating curriculum is maintained for all clinical and psychoeducational groups
- Approve and coordinate weekly client outings that promote behavioral activation and opportunities for skills practice
- Work with other Senior staff in the region and relevant departments to ensure that new Facility Nurses and program Chefs receive comprehensive training at hire
- Ensure that the Facility Nurse is regularly auditing and maintaining all compliance measures, per licensing and accreditation standards
- Ensure that the program Chef is providing balanced, home-cooked meals, staying within the given monthly budget, and adhering to kitchen compliance standards
- Ensure that all safety protocols and clinical policies and procedures are being consistently adhered to by staff
- Ensure that program vendors are providing quality services and provide feedback, as needed
- Review vendor invoices and submit them to Payables monthly
- Work with Human Resources to ensure that vendor contracts are created and maintained
- Work with the Scheduling Coordinator to ensure that all Residential Counselors shifts are filled and that the Time-Off Policy is being effectively applied, including management of excessive absences, unapproved absences, etc.
- Create and maintain a positive, collaborative team culture and facilitate quarterly team-building activities for the team
- Participate in the clinical on-call rotation and provide phone-based support to on-site staff
- Provide back-up support to Primary Therapists when they are on-call and assist with managing after-hours crises and emergencies
- Participate in and lead clinical debriefs, per the Clinical Debrief Policy and Procedure
- Ensure that Outcomes Program assessments are completed at the required time points, and that assessment data is being integrated into differential diagnosis and treatment planning for each client
- Work with Facility Nurse to ensure that all current COVID-19 protocols are maintained; assist with supporting COVID-positive clients, as needed
- Other duties, as assigned by the Regional Director
Payrate: $135,000 - 140,000 plus a sign-on bonus of $5,000.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
- Must possess a valid California Driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check and clear federal and state criminal background checks, and child abuse indexes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with teens preferred
- Experience working in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred
Pay Range:
- $125,000 - $130,000 annual salary
- SIgn-On Bonus up to $10k
