Job Description:

Perform and analyze a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests on biological specimens, including blood, urine, and other body fluids.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of laboratory instruments and automated systems.
Ensure the accuracy and validity of test results through strict adherence to quality control procedures and quality assurance standards.
Review and verify results for accuracy and report them in a timely manner.
Identify and resolve problems with patient samples, reagents, and equipment.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed and results.
Follow all laboratory safety protocols and procedures, including handling of hazardous materials and biological specimens.
Participate in proficiency testing programs to ensure laboratory competency.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide timely and accurate information.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay current with new laboratory techniques, technologies, and regulations.
