Job Description:

• Perform and analyze a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests on biological specimens, including blood, urine, and other body fluids.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of laboratory instruments and automated systems.
• Ensure the accuracy and validity of test results through strict adherence to quality control procedures and quality assurance standards.
• Review and verify results for accuracy and report them in a timely manner.
• Identify and resolve problems with patient samples, reagents, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed and results.
• Follow all laboratory safety protocols and procedures, including handling of hazardous materials and biological specimens.
• Participate in proficiency testing programs to ensure laboratory competency.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide timely and accurate information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay current with new laboratory techniques, technologies, and regulations.
