Job Description

As part of our expanding New Construction team, we are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Estimator. This role is essential in ensuring accurate project bids and budgets, supporting our clients with expert recommendations, and contributing to the continued growth and reputation of our company. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate bids and budgets for commercial roofing projects within established deadlines.
  • Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and architectural specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Perform detailed material quantity take-offs and develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Input and manage estimates and customer information using Salesforce CRM.
  • Present clients with roofing system options and product recommendations tailored to project needs.
  • Conduct on-site roof inspections to verify project details and ensure accuracy in estimates.
  • Participate in client meetings and business development events as needed to support company growth.
  • Maintain clear communication and deliver high-quality customer service throughout the sales and estimating process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial roofing estimating.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with EDGE estimating software (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar take-off software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing leads and accounts using CRM software such as Salesforce.

Compensation

Base salary: $65,000–$85,000 (depending on experience)
Commission opportunities and performance-based bonuses are available.
