Job Description

Horton Electrical Services, LLC is looking to hire full-time Construction Laborers. This individual should be someone who wants to build a career in construction. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions. They should also be punctual and can work in a team environment. 

Must be familiar with utilizing tools for construction activities like shovels, rakes, saws, pallet jacks and hand tools. Laborers will coordinate onsite activities with equipment operator and/or Foreman. 

Laborer will sometimes operate small equipment (skid steer loader, fork trucks, and aerial lifts) and utilizes company vehicles for transportation of equipment and material to jobsites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Require a valid and clean Driver’s License. 
• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Require a valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification. 
• Construction experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor and other physically strenuous tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. without limitations.
• Be able to be an independent thinker and be able to work as a part of a team.
• Leadership qualities.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions. 
• Willingness to travel to various job sites within the State of Connecticut. 
• Must be punctual, reliable and possess an excellent work ethic.
• Safety-conscious work environment.
• All positions require physical labor, positive attitude, and a willingness to follow our safety policies.
• Applicants must pass a Pre-Employment Health Performance Exam, pre-hire drug and alcohol testing prior to starting. 

This full-time position is Monday–Friday .
Salary range: $17 - $25

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND MOTIVATION.
