The  Hilton Arlington National Landing is looking for a talented full-time Cook ll to join their culinary team! Conveniently located five miles from D.C., our hotel is minutes from Reagan National Airport by free shuttle. Within walking distance is the National Landing neighborhood's shopping and local restaurants. Choose one of our Peloton Wellness rooms or enjoy more space in a Room2Work guest room. Enjoy our 24-hour fitness center, restaurant, and bar.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of culinary experience, prior high-volume experience, a positive moral, a great approach to teamwork, and a genuine passion for culinary arts. This is a union position which will be supporting banquet and restaurant operations. 

Shift Pattern: Full availability is needed including weekends and holidays

Shift hours are: 3:00pm-11:00pm. Schedules will fluctuate as this is a union position.

Pay Rate: $21.92 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Cook ll , you would be responsible for preparing cold food items and performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare cold food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items and appetizers, according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and food products
• Stock and maintain designated food stations(s)
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
