The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) at Clark University School of Professional Studies prepares students to be forward-thinking individuals with technical prowess and strategic acumen to address real- world challenges with integrity and ingenuity. With a strong emphasis on market-ready skills, the MSIT program balances technical proficiency with essential soft skills necessary for professional success. The program consists of three concentrations: Generative AI, Product Development, and Technology in Healthcare.

The Technology in Healthcare concentration offers a thorough exploration of the intersection between healthcare and technology, preparing students to navigate the evolving landscape of digital healthcare. From foundational principles to cutting-edge applications, students gain insight into essential components such as electronic health records systems, telemedicine platforms, and health information exchanges. Through courses focusing on digital health applications, architecture, interoperability, and the future of healthcare technology, students develop a deep understanding of how technology can enhance healthcare delivery, improve patient outcomes, and address critical challenges in the healthcare industry. By examining ethical, legal, and social implications, students are equipped to lead patient privacy and data security while leveraging innovative technologies to shape the future of healthcare.

The MSIT Program is looking for Course Developers and Instructors. Preference of the program is to hire someone who can develop and teach the course. Following are the courses that we are looking for course developers and instructors.

  • Healthcare Technology Foundations
  • Digital Health Applications and Architecture
  • Health Information Exchange and Interoperability
  • The Future of Healthcare Technology




Job Requirements:

Course Development Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Management, or a related field, with a focus on technology in healthcare preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in healthcare technology, including electronic health records systems, telemedicine platforms, health information exchanges, and digital health applications.
  • Preferred Qualification: prior experience developing graduate (college) course(s) or training course/program(s).

Teaching Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Management, or a related field, with a focus on technology in healthcare preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in healthcare technology, including electronic health records systems, telemedicine platforms, health information exchanges, and digital health applications.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Commitment to promoting ethical practices, patient privacy, and data security in healthcare technology, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and addressing industry challenges.
  • Dedication to continuous learning, professional development, and staying updated with advancements in healthcare technology and related fields.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior teaching experience at the graduate level;
    • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence and an ability to integrate ethical concepts and broad understandings of diversity.
