Position Purpose:
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for advanced and predictive data analytics, utilizing big data and data science technologies to drive healthcare innovation and improve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis using advanced data science techniques on structured and unstructured data sets.
Develop algorithms tailored to meet specific business needs.
Design and develop data models to predict member outcomes and assess the impact of key decisions.
Create and construct analysis tools to extract, analyze, and store analytical results in a suitable format.
Conduct exploratory data analysis from complex data sources, building key data sets to support our mission.
Evaluate and design experiments to monitor key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Develop mathematical and statistical models to identify relevant content, events, and patterns.
Participate in presentations and effectively communicate analysis results and findings.
Design automated, operational analytics processes to scale and ensure durability of analysis processes.
Validate and measure the outcomes of health management programs using tools like R Shiny.
Manage multiple projects as assigned.
Assist in training Data Analysts.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics, Econometrics, Engineering, Experimental Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and data science capabilities.
Proficiency in data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical modeling, large-scale data acquisition, transformation, and analysis of both structured and unstructured data.
Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SAP, DB2, Teradata, MS SQL Server, SAP HANA, and MySQL.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $84,300.00 - $151,700.00 per year
Comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and flexible work arrangements (remote, hybrid, field, or office).
Actual pay will be adjusted based on skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
