Responsibilities:

• As an Elastic Application Engineer, I will ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by performing the following tasks:
• Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
• Review, analyze, and provide Tier III support for patches and updates, including testing the baseline in the Engineering Operations Facility (EOF) prior to release to the RCCs.
• Develop Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETPs) with directions to apply patches, upgrades, and security configurations or updates to the baseline system in the EOF for testing in accordance with the STIGs.
• Provide operational experience in the implementation and sustainment of NetOps capabilities across all operational and strategic echelons in the LWN, including Joint components in support of the Army’s GNE/NSC. Experience in systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and engineering is essential.
• Coordinate, review, and maintain system documentation.
• Participate in special projects as required.
