Reporting to the Director of Endoscopy, the Nurse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating high-quality patient care while promoting staff performance through education and role modeling. Utilizing expertise in case management, the supervisor ensures seamless care for patients and their families, effectively resolving conflicts in the Patient Care Unit to guide the team toward amicable solutions.
The Nurse Supervisor will leverage their clinical skills and manage resources while guiding staff in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and efficiency. Responsibilities include collaborating with the patient care team to address issues, communicating vital information to physicians, providing care details to patients and families, assessing staff competencies, ensuring adequate coverage, and overseeing Preop, OR, Recovery, and Central Processing.
