We are is seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to support our events team in planning and executing a range of projects. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to launch their career in event planning and management, offering hands-on experience with the guidance of experienced event coordinators.

$24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and promotional activities.
• Support event coordinators with logistical tasks such as organizing materials, setting up event spaces, and managing schedules.
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and venue managers to confirm details and ensure smooth operations.
• Help monitor event timelines, checklists, and schedules to ensure all activities are on track.
• Aid in on-site event execution, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance.
• Prepare materials for events, such as signage, handouts, and promotional items.
• Assist with post-event tasks, including gathering feedback and preparing reports.
• Maintain organized records and files related to each event.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
• Positive attitude with a passion for event planning and customer service.
