SalesBizLab We are is seeking a motivated and energetic Entry Level Events Assistant to help plan, coordinate, and execute events that drive business engagement and marketing efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about event planning, with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn. The role will involve working closely with the events team to ensure seamless event operations from start to finish.

Pay Range:

$21.50 - $28.00 per hour

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Location: New Jersey

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing company events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
• Collaborate with the events team to develop event timelines, logistics, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and successful delivery of event materials and services.
• Support with event set-up, breakdown, and on-site management to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare materials such as brochures, promotional items, and event signage.
• Help with managing guest lists, RSVPs, and registration processes for events.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze the effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to events, including scheduling, invoicing, and record-keeping.
• Provide excellent customer service to event attendees and act as a point of contact for any questions or concerns.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative event ideas and marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in event planning, marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
• Familiarity with event management software and tools is an advantage.
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, or marketing is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates.
