Essential HealthCare Solutions, LLC, a leading healthcare company servicing national emergency and disaster efforts over the last few years, is seeking interested emergency relief personnel. We are looking for Equipment Operators to rapidly deploy to Florida to assist with disaster efforts related to Hurricane Helene. The equipment operator will be a telehandler (short for telescopic handler) a versatile piece of heavy equipment often used in hurricane support and disaster response operations due to its ability to lift, move, and place materials in hard-to-reach areas. It combines the features of a forklift, crane, and loader, making it ideal for various tasks in challenging environments such as post-hurricane cleanup or relief efforts. You must have forklift and telehandler experience

Key Uses for the position:

1. Debris Removal: After a hurricane, work will be mostly telehandlers to lift and remove large debris like fallen trees, broken structures, and other heavy objects that obstruct roadways or access to buildings.

2. Material Handling: Telehandlers are essential for moving and placing heavy materials such as building supplies, relief equipment, and emergency supplies, often in hard-to-reach locations. Their telescopic boom allows for the easy transport of items to upper levels or across debris-strewn landscapes.

3. Loading and Unloading: In a warehouse or relief supply setting, telehandlers can load and unload trucks with emergency supplies like food, water, and medical kits. Their maneuverability makes them ideal for working in tight spaces and damaged infrastructure.

4. Construction and Repair Assistance: Telehandlers can assist in lifting construction materials to help rebuild damaged structures, transport heavy equipment, or support other equipment such as generators or temporary shelters in areas with difficult access.

5. Versatility in Terrain: Telehandlers are equipped with four-wheel drive and large tires, allowing them to operate on rough, uneven, or flooded terrain—conditions that are common after a hurricane.

· Support disaster recovery efforts, including the removal of debris, fallen structures, and placement of relief equipment.

· Inspect and maintain the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition; report any damage, malfunctions, or maintenance needs immediately.

· Adhere to safety protocols at all times, ensuring the safe operation of the telehandler and compliance with workplace safety guidelines.

· Collaborate with the on-site team, including engineers, construction crews, and disaster response teams, to support logistical needs.

· Assist in site clean-up and material organization when necessary, ensuring the work area remains safe and orderly.

· Adapt to various terrains and challenging work conditions, especially in post-hurricane or disaster-stricken areas.

Qualifications:
