Position: Events Assistant Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule: Weekends Off Salary: $780 - $1,125 per week Work Type: In-person (strictly on-site) Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning, organization, and execution of a variety of events ranging from corporate conferences to community workshops. As the Events Assistant, you will work closely with event coordinators and vendors to ensure every aspect of the events runs smoothly. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to completion.
• Help manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and transportation arrangements.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and products.
• Support the development and distribution of event materials, including invitations and programs.
• Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to enhance future events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in event planning or a related field is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and vendors.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using event management software preferred.
