What Are We Looking for in the Ideal Candidates?

• Strategic Negotiator: Engage daily with the sales team to negotiate Long-Term Agreements, leveraging a robust supply base for optimal pricing and delivery terms.
• ERP Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of global and complex ERP systems to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain.
• Market Insight: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of market trends and supplier dynamics to drive effective procurement strategies and support our growth.

What will you be doing?

As a Sr. Buyer at Align Aerospace, you will craft and execute a strategic plan to optimize supplier relationships, manage inventory, and secure the best prices. Your deep understanding of the sales process and sales contracts will be crucial. Being a Sr. Buyer with Align is pivotal to our success and filled with exciting challenges and opportunities:

• Drive Supplier Excellence: Use your industry expertise and strong relationships to elevate supplier performance, ensuring top-tier quality and on-time delivery. Negotiate unbeatable prices and secure the best deals that propel our success.
• Command the ERP System: Harness the power of complex ERP systems to make strategic moves that keep our supply chain robust and agile.
• Craft Winning Strategies: Develop and implement cutting-edge strategies to monitor supplier performance and on-time delivery, ensuring our operations run like a well-oiled machine.
• Source the Best: Scout and procure premium products and materials that meet our high standards, driving excellence in every purchase.
• Manage Big Budgets: Take charge of significant spending items, maximizing cost-effectiveness and value in every transaction.
• Negotiate Like a Pro: Secure long-term agreements with suppliers through dynamic negotiations, aligning terms with customer needs for the best pricing and delivery terms.
• Streamline Operations: Tackle Material Requisition Planning (MRP) daily to keep inventory levels aligned with demand and operational needs.
• Optimize Inventory: Achieve department goals and personal KPIs by managing inventory levels with precision, ensuring Align always has the right products at the right time.
• Tackle Excess and Obsolescence: Strategically manage excess and obsolete goods, coordinating with the warehouse to streamline material disposition.
• Ensure Timely Deliveries: Keep the supply chain on track by regularly updating and managing lead times with suppliers for punctual deliveries.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor and manage product revisions to prevent obsolescence and avoid excess finished goods.
• Resolve Issues Swiftly: Quickly identify and address invoicing and receiving discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
• Integrate Innovations: Seamlessly incorporate newly sourced products and suppliers into our portfolio, expanding our capabilities and enhancing our offerings.
• Be the Liaison: Act as the central point of contact between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and effective purchasing processes.
• Lead and Influence: Represent the department in influential meetings with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers, driving strategic decisions and fostering strong relationships.
• Champion Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness, making a lasting impact on our success.
