About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our clients growing law firm. Youll manage your own cases and provide support on complex cases, gaining hands-on experience in the courtroom. The firm handles custody, visitation, support, protective orders , and all aspects of divorce, domestic violence , and paternity cases . If you have 3+ years of experience in family law and are licensed to practice in California , we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Litigate family law matters from start to finish, including custody, support, divorce, and paternity cases.
• Develop family law cases by conducting research and analyzing various issues.
• Attend depositions, mediations, and hearings to advocate for clients.
• Review, analyze, and draft legal documents , ensuring strong organization, prioritization, and time management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, outside attorneys, and support staff with integrity and professional ethics .
• Track and manage billable hours and ensure all aspects of client and case management are properly met.

Core Competencies:

• Family Law Expertise : Proven ability to handle family law cases from start to finish.
• Client Communication : Compassionate and knowledgeable communication with clients of varying sophistication levels.
• Legal Research & Drafting : Strong research, writing, and analytical skills to develop and present family law cases.
• Case & Time Management : Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and track billable hours efficiently.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Family Law .
• Licensed in California to practice law (CFLS certification or eligibility is a plus).
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills .
• Strong organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
