What’s a typical day as a Fiber Optics Technician? You’ll be:
• Responsible for optical connector assembly and termination of various configurations of fiber optic cable assemblies
• Testing cable assemblies and troubleshooting any issues
• Assisting in process development and problem resolution
• Operating fiber router and completing over-molding process
• Providing suggestions for cost reduction and increased manufacturing efficiency
• Collaborating with remote sites and outside vendors
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have completed High School or equivalent
• Preferably have 2 years of experience in a fiber optic manufacturing environment
• Possess good time management skills and attention to detail
• Have proficient dexterity and motor skills for intricate work
