Seeking to hire a full time generator technician who can perform troubleshooting on Commercial & Residential Standby Emergency Generator Systems.

Education / Training
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Training from accredited technical school in gaseous or diesel engines or prior job experience with diesel or gas engines.
- Willing and able to travel for further training specific to the generator industry as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform major and minor preventative maintenance on most generator models.
- Perform startups on new equipment from various manufacturers.
- Perform portable load banking on equipment.
- Identify additional preventative maintenance needs including replacement of belts, hoses, and batteries.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs on all components of generators, engines, and automatic transfer switches as necessary.
- Be able to effectively communicate to customers findings and conclusions of troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs.
- Able to turn in all paperwork to the service department within 24 hours of the job completion.
- Take care of company issued property.
Qualifications:
- Have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Safely operate a service vehicle.
- Time and activity management skills.
- Good character and core values.
- Ability to display professionalism and build rapport with clients.
- Be a team player.
