Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Hudson Falls, New York is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Perform the application and recording of chemical applications on the club grounds in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Supervise and control all expenses associated with golf course operations.
Working with current dilapidated irrigation system and pump until they can be replaced.
Degree or certificate in Turf Management, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
GCSSA membership.
Has or able to obtain New York State Pesticide application license within 3 months
Experience Requirements.
Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in golf course maintenance, with supervisory management experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Golf Course Superintendent highly desirable.
Experience with bent greens, bent grass tees and fairways.
Strong knowledge of agronomy, irrigation systems, and pest management practices.
Proficient in the operation and maintenance of golf course equipment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience in course construction projects.
Compensation:
$125,000 – $175,000 per year.
