Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Senior Sales Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving group business across all market segments to meet and exceed revenue goals.

Position Information : Full-Time, 65,00-70,000 salary rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit new and existing accounts through telephone outreach, outside sales calls, site inspections, and written communication
  • Collaborate with Assistant Director of Sales (ADOS) and Catering/Conference Services (COHO) to stay informed on market trends, competition, and customer needs
  • Support sales/catering managers in implementing marketing strategies to uncover potential business opportunities
  • Participate in sales strategy, pre-convention, training, and other sales-related meetings
  • Assist in analyzing RevMax worksheets to estimate business value and negotiate optimal revenue-generating deals while ensuring excellent customer service
  • Contribute to accurate forecasting of Group & NVA revenues
  • Help recruit, manage, train, and mentor sales staff
  • Maintain detailed customer correspondence, booking reports, and files
  • Attend trade shows, community events, and industry meetings
  • Foster strong interdepartmental relationships and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of hotel sales experience with a focus on revenue generation
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong administrative and business writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in sales forecasting and analysis
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including banquets and catering
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays as required
