Job Description
Job Title: Hybrid Employment Counselor / Case Manager.
Location: Sussex and Morris County.
Job Description: Support participants by assessing work readiness, developing plans, and guiding them toward employment and self-sufficiency.
- Conduct intake, assessments, and create Individual Responsibility Plans (IRPs).
- Provide career counseling and refer clients to services/activities that meet requirements.
- Maintain accurate case notes, files, and data entry in AOSOS.
- Track participation, process logs/timesheets, and follow up with clients.
- Collaborate with supervisors, staff, and community agencies.
- Recommend sanctions and attend hearings as needed.
- Represent at meetings/events and support program operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field required.
- Experience in social/human services preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and tech skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads, maintain boundaries, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Hours: Monday-Friday business hours temp-to-perm
