Job Title: Information Security Analyst (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions using security tools and technologies.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, analyzing root causes and implementing remediation.
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect company assets.
Perform regular risk assessments to identify security gaps and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of networks, systems, and applications.
Manage and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus software.
Implement and oversee security controls for data protection, including encryption and access management.
Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Experience in an Information Security or cybersecurity role.
Strong understanding of network and application security, firewalls, and encryption protocols.
Experience with security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Experience with incident response, risk assessments, and security audits.
Experience in regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and data protection best practices.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents.

Preferred Skills:

Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of SIEM platforms like Splunk or ArcSight.
Experience in threat intelligence and ethical hacking tools.
Federal Experience is a plus.
Required Security clearance.
