Interim: Quality Improvement Nurse (Managed Care)

California

Position:

A progressive and growing Healthcare organization looking for an Interim Quality Improvement Nurse to perform quality improvement activities related to HEDIS, facility site reviews, and complaint/grievance resolution. It involves planning, implementing, and monitoring quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and contractual requirements. The work is semi-routine, occasionally varied, and moderately complex, requiring limited to moderate discretion and independent judgment.

Interim details:

• Basic knowledge of computers required.
• Able to work remotely, required.
• 3-month Interim assignment, to start. Possibility of extension.
• Must be a current resident of California, required.
• Monday-Friday work schedule

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, required
• Unrestricted California Registered Nurse license , required
• 5+ years clinical experience as a nurse in an acute care setting, required
• 3+ years of recent experience working in Quality improvement in a Healthcare setting , preferred.
• Recent experience working in a managed care setting, preferred
• Experience working with Medi-Cal and/or Medicare populations, strongly p referred
• Valid California driver license and reliable transportation required

Salary: $50.00 Per/hour
