Client is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join a dynamic boutique investment bank. This is a full-time, in-office position where you will work closely with senior bankers, clients, and deal teams. As an Associate, you will be involved in every aspect of M&A and capital raising transactions, including financial analysis, due diligence, client communications, and presentations.
Key Responsibilities - Participate in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and the creation of teasers, information memorandums, and management presentations.
- Develop investor/acquirer contact lists and help create pitch materials.
- Assist in client-facing interactions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely work.
- Analyze financial statements and perform company valuations (including financial models and comparable company analysis).
- Contribute to the recruitment of additional team members as the firm expands.
Qualifications - MBA with at least one year of post-MBA investment banking experience
- Minimum of 2 years of pre-MBA investment banking experience.
- Strong academic background in business, finance, accounting, or economics.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and company valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
