About the Role:
As a Junior Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll play a crucial role in our growing team. You'll connect with potential clients, assist in creating and closing loan packages, and help generate new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with leads generated by our top-notch marketing machine.
- Consult with potential loan applicants, answering questions and providing information about home loan products to build strong relationships.
- Gather and review financial information to support loan applications, preparing loan files, and assessing applicants' financial situations.
- Monitor your sales pipeline, meet sales goals, and generate new business through referrals and opportunities.
- Work as part of a collaborative office team and accelerate your learning.
What We're Looking For:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 1-3 years of sales-related experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage products is helpful but not required.
- A proactive self-starter with a consistent track record of high performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Encompass is a plus.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, or squat as needed.
- Use hands to handle or feel objects and reach with arms.
- Talk or hear, with specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, and depth perception.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Analytical skills to logically assess situations and draw conclusions.
- Ability to manage personal emotions and maintain professionalism.
- Display honesty, accountability, and a strong moral conviction.
Work Environment:
- Office setting with occasional opportunities for remote work.
- Routine use of a computer and standard office equipment.
- Physical demands include occasional lifting, bending, and manual tasks.
- Moderate noise level; exposure to weather conditions and varying business environments may occur.
