Job Description

We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 Aerospace and Defense organization who is actively seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager due to a recent promotion. This role will be responsible for leading Plant Production and the Manufacturing Engineering function while working to implement world class processes in an effort to improve plant KPI's and deliverables.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Reporting to the Divisional VP/GM, this will be the top position on this campus where the Plant Operations Manager will be responsible for managing (4) salaried direct reports in an 80 employee foundry environment.
• Complete ownership over the plant manufacturing/production function
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and department business plan goals.
• Establish Production KPI's, and deliverables
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
• Direct department process improvements and corrective actions.
• Provide key input into the development of the department strategic business plan and identify and track key measurables to support the department business plan goals.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical field is preferred for consideration.
• Candidate must have at least 2-5 years of Operations/Production/Engineering leadership experience for consideration
• Candidate should be well versed in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Continuous Improvement with strong approach to problem solving
• Metals/Foundry manufacturing experienced preferred.
