which makes everything possible.The Material Handler I is responsible for packaging and protection of material stored and shipped as well as packaging and distributing to assembling areas.
This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Shipping Department and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and overtime is routine, especially the last Thursday and Friday of every month.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform all packaging functions (i.e., packing product according to customer specifications) and assist in achieving and maintaining 95% OTD (On Time Delivery) while accurately completing all required paperwork including routers, scorecards, hazard recognitions, etc.
Communicate and give clear, concise verbal and written instructions.
Receive stock and distribute inventory used in all areas of manufacturing.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED)
Knowledge and experience using software (i.e. MS Office, etc.)
Ability to bend, lift, stand, and twist for long periods of time (90% of shift). Lifting weight: Minimum of 35 pounds. Lifting requirement: Daily. Must be able to climb stars (up to 2 stories). Good eye and hand dexterity.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working in a manufacturing plant
