Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Mortgage Loan Officer! In this role, you'll play a key part in helping clients find the right mortgage solutions. You'll report directly to the Mortgage Sales Manager and enjoy the flexibility of a remote or hybrid work environment, with occasional travel for client visits and office meetings.

Primary Responsibilities:

Proactively seek out clients for residential mortgage solutions.
Convert inbound and outbound sales leads into applications.
Assess clients' financial needs and recommend optimal product/rate combinations.
Achieve monthly sales performance goals.
Essential Functions:

Originate, negotiate, and process residential mortgage loans.
Counsel and advise loan applicants on their options.
Collect necessary information and documents from applicants and other parties.
Communicate interest rates, points, and fees associated with loans.
Monitor loan application statuses and keep clients informed.
Coordinate the loan processing and closing with team members.
Answer questions from applicants regarding closings and help resolve any disputes.
Provide information on loan products, pricing, and services to real estate professionals.
Attend meetings and presentations to stay informed and connected.
Prepare reports and ensure accuracy in loan files and documentation.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in loan management and negotiation in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with loan processing guidelines, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA.
Strong knowledge of standard loan practices, documents, and real estate terminology.
Solid understanding of the mortgage market.
Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred.
Must reside in California.
Compensation:

Annual salary range of $52,000 to $200,000, plus commission (1099).
