About the Role:

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to teach students across the country in a variety of subjects, focusing on special education needs. You'll use your skills and creativity to make learning fun and interactive, often adapting your approach based on student feedback, questions, and needs. Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or group tutoring sessions in a virtual setting, using your expertise in special education to assist students with their academic needs.
Develop individualized learning plans that cater to each student's unique learning style, with an emphasis on engaging and interactive teaching methods.
Communicate with students and families to monitor progress, address concerns, and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
Utilize online tools and resources to create a positive and effective learning experience.
Maintain professionalism and reliability, ensuring that each tutoring session is focused and productive.

Requirements:

RBT Certification: Highly preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in special education, with a focus on accommodations and working with students with learning disabilities.
Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
Passion for Teaching: Ability to make learning enjoyable and engaging, with a flexible teaching style tailored to student questions and needs.
Background Check: Ability to pass a background check if required.
