Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, screen, and verify incoming and outgoing packages and mail for prohibited or hazardous materials.
• Utilize screening equipment, tools, and techniques to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
• Log and document package/mail details, including tracking numbers and delivery statuses.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages.
• Adhere to company protocols, safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
• Report any suspicious or irregular packages to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Maintain a clean and organized mailroom or screening area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in mail handling or security is a plus.
• Previous experience in package/mail screening, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Basic computer skills for logging and tracking packages.
• Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 as needed.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
