Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, screen, and verify incoming and outgoing packages and mail for prohibited or hazardous materials.
Utilize screening equipment, tools, and techniques to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
Log and document package/mail details, including tracking numbers and delivery statuses.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages.
Adhere to company protocols, safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
Report any suspicious or irregular packages to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Maintain a clean and organized mailroom or screening area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in mail handling or security is a plus.
Previous experience in package/mail screening, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Basic computer skills for logging and tracking packages.
Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 as needed.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
