Job Description

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to our legal operations. Your responsibilities will include drafting legal documents, conducting thorough legal research for trial preparation, and maintaining well-organized case files to ensure easy access to vital information.

Compensation: $51,000 - $56,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing for trial by organizing exhibits, preparing for client meetings, filing motions, and coordinating with witnesses.
Conduct client interviews to gather essential information regarding legal issues.
Perform administrative duties, including answering phone calls and maintaining an organized filing system for easy document access.
Coordinate various law office activities, such as drafting subpoenas and liaising with process servers.
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings, including complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of an attorney.

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for effective writing and grammar.
Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program is highly preferred.
Must have an ABA-approved paralegal certificate from an Associate's degree or a proprietary school program in paralegal studies; a Bachelor's degree is desired.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in legal services, specifically in a law firm setting, working under an attorney or lawyer.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
