About the Role:

Were on the hunt for an experienced Patent Litigation Associate to join our clients team in San Diego . The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of patent litigation experience and a background in electrical engineering or computer science . This role involves handling all aspects of patent litigation, from Markman hearings and technical analysis to discovery management and trial preparation . Your Mission:

• Prepare and handle trial of patent matters , including Markman hearings .
• Conduct technical analysis of products and patents.
• Manage all aspects of discovery preparation , including document review and production.
• Work closely with experts and assist with their reports and depositions.
• Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Draft pleadings, motions , and other litigation-related documents.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.

Core Competencies:

• Patent Litigation Expertise : Proven experience in handling patent litigation, including trial preparation, Markman hearings, and discovery management.
• Technical Background : Preferred experience in electrical engineering , computer science , or a related field.
• Communication & Collaboration : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Client Relationship Management : Professionalism in engaging with clients and managing their litigation needs.

What You Bring:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to or eligible for admission in California .
• 3+ years of patent litigation experience in district court and/or before the International Trade Commission (ITC) .
• Technical background in electrical engineering , computer science , or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail .
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings .
