The Nevada Fertility Institute is seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Assistant to serve as a Patient Care Concierge at our facility.
Responsibilities
1. Rooming patients, Chaperone ultrasounds & all Physical exams.
2. Taking & Logging Vital Signs.
3. Calling in/electronically submitting Prescriptions, Test Orders & Referrals, as instructed by Provider.
4. Responding to Established Patient clinical calls, texts & emails.
5. Performing Instrument Sterilization & maintaining relevant quality control (QC) logs.
6. Stocking Patient Care rooms, the general stock room & the two operating suites.
7. Performing daily QC temperature Logs (patient care refrigerators, storeroom, Pregnancy test storage area, blanket warmer, etc.).
8. Coordinating Patient Care Supply Inventory.
9. Cross cover onboarding & coordination of ovulation induction cycles, including managing resulting pregnancies through to discharge at 12 weeks’ gestation (cycle orders, cycle consents, medication authorization, med teaching, cycle decision communication).
10. Assist in Procedures, including egg retrievals, embryo transfers & Hysteroscopy.
