Pinnacle Talent Solutions is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator who can navigate multiple, large payrolls! Our client is looking for a proven payroll specialist who takes initiative! The position processes payroll for a variety of businesses all while providing a high level of customer service The ideal candidate will have a "can do" attitude coupled with a customer facing demeanor. Responsibilities
- Enter, maintains, and or processes information in the payroll system, including: employees hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes and other pertinent information
- Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions and other deductions
- Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits
- Generates reports for clients as needed
- Prints and distributes client payroll reports and checks
- Works closely with client contacts to ensure payroll is running smoothly
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associates degree preferred
- 3 years' experience in accounting or bookkeeping with at least 2 years' experience in payroll, preferred
- Experience with complex payrolls a huge plus (prevailing wage, multi-state, multi industry)
- Proficiency in larger payroll systems (i.e. Paylocity, Prism, UKG)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on robust MS Excel skills
- CPP Certification (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
