Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Irvine, California. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in payroll systems, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to employees. Responsibilities: - Process payroll data accurately, including calculating wages, deductions, bonuses, and commissions for employees. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to taxes, wages, and labor laws. - Reconcile payroll reports with accounting records and address any discrepancies promptly. - Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Manage and update payroll software systems to maintain accurate employee information. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, benefits, and timekeeping in a timely manner. - Generate payroll-related reports for management and accounting teams to support decision-making. - Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and tax teams, to ensure integrated processes. - Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee payroll data. - Assist with 401k and other benefit administration tasks as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in payroll processing and reconciliation. - Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or similar systems. - Solid understanding of local, state, and federal payroll regulations. - Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies. - Excellent organizational and communication abilities. - Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion. - Familiarity with accounting functions and benefit administration. - Adept at meeting deadlines and managing time effectively.
