COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Payrate: $22.00/hr
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday; some Saturdays required
• Start Date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
As a Fill Technician at Biologics by McKesson, you will play a critical role in pharmacy operations by ensuring the accurate preparation and labeling of prescriptions, contributing directly to patient safety and therapy effectiveness. Your work supports a seamless medication dispensing process and reinforces our mission to provide personalized, high-quality care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accurately count and label prescriptions to match patient therapy regimens
• Record and monitor drug storage conditions and document any excursions
• Perform quarterly expiration date checks and monthly drug inventory
• Maintain accurate perpetual inventory records daily
• Support the distribution team with documentation and shipment preparation
• Receive multiple drug orders following SOP standards
• Handle biohazard materials in compliance with OSHA guidelines
• Collaborate with teammates to meet operational goals
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma required
• Registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy or ability to register within 1 month of hire
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Proficient in basic computer operations and multitasking
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and team-oriented
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Requires handling of biohazard materials per OSHA safety standards
• Regular standing and movement required in a pharmacy fulfillment setting
• Exposure to controlled substance storage and tracking systems
• Involves periodic inventory audits and drug handling
• Adheres to documented SOPs and compliance guidelines
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification
• Previous pharmacy operations or fulfillment experience
• Experience in inventory or logistics environments
