Job Description

Overview: 
We are seeking a talented and passionate Photographer/Videographer to join our creative team! In this role, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality photography content for our client's product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire photo/video production process from pre-production to post-production, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of quality and are on schedule
  • Collaborate with team members to develop unique concepts that drive the strategic goals of each project
  • Serve as the key point of contact for all photo/video projects, ensuring client feedback is integrated and their vision is accurately translated into the final content
  • Maintain the highest standards of creativity, technical excellence, and visual storytelling across all content
  • Use proper lighting and angles to promote our products
  • Arrange subject material, pose subject, or maneuver into position to take candid photos
  • Estimate or measure light level, using a light meter or create artificial lighting with flash units, lights, and lighting equipment
  • Adjusts lens aperture and shutter speed based on combination of factors, such as lighting, depth of field, subject motion, and film speed
  • Determines subject-to-lens distance, using tape measure, range finder, ground glass, or reflex viewing system to adjust focus
  • May conceive and plan photographic sequence for effective presentation
  • Work with various types of lighting to make products look appealing

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with professional photo and video equipment
  • At least 1 year of experience as a photographer/videographer or in a similarly creative role
  • Experience in an agency or media production setting is a plus
  • Familiarity with color grading and advanced video editing techniques
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work proactively, solve problems, and make decisions on the fly
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) or similar
  • Leadership skills and the ability to guide projects to completion
  • A portfolio that demonstrates excellence in composition and lighting
