Artemis Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our client's team!

Position Name: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Gilbert, AZ or Mesa, AZ

Employment Type: Direct-Hire & Permanent

Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic (Physician-Owned Practice)

Pay: $54,080-$68,640 annually + Monthly Performance Bonuses

Sign-On Bonus: $12,000

Shift: Monday-Friday (Flexible Options Available) | Full-Time

Qualifications:

Required:

- Active Arizona Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (compact state license alone not sufficient).

- Graduate from PTA Program.

- New graduates welcome.

- Ability to practice under PT supervision with excellent communication skills.

- Capable of managing approximately 12 patients daily in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong documentation abilities with completion within 48 hours.

- Professional demeanor with standardized, articulate communication approach.

Preferred:

- Outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation experience.

- Familiarity with Athena EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.

- Team player mentality with ability to collaborate effectively.

Job Summary:

- Deliver quality physical therapy services as a licensed clinician under PT supervision in an outpatient orthopedic setting specializing in musculoskeletal and post-surgical rehabilitation.

- Serve as an active and valued member of the rehabilitation team, practicing within PTA scope while contributing insights on exercise progressions and patient care decisions.

- Manage a patient caseload (approximately 12 patients daily) with a focus on quality care and appropriate billing practices.

- Utilize Athena EMR to document patient encounters within 48 hours, with access to physician notes, imaging, and direct messaging features.

- Work within a collaborative team structure alongside a supervising PT, technician, and front desk staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

- Participate in open communication culture where input is welcomed and expected regarding patient treatment and clinical decision-making.

- New graduates will complete required 2,000-hour general supervision period with support from experienced PTs.

- Engage with on-site orthopedic physicians as part of an integrated care delivery model.
