Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $33.36 - $43.36 / hour
Responsible for Physician and Provider recruitment for designated specialties including initial physician contact, sourcing, vetting, interviewing and presenting pre-qualified candidates to meet client needs and expectations. Researches, identifies, recommends and utilizes the most effective recruitment and attraction strategies including sourcing, marketing/advertising, social media, networking, relationship building, direct recruiting, etc. Collaborates with leadership including System Directors, System Medical Directors, and physician practice leadership to develop and monitor recruitment plans and strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Physician Recruiter is responsible for hiring physician candidates in a variety of specialties that meet all key aspects of the position including training requirements, clinical experience, certifications, and all other credentialing and hiring requirements. Provides guidance on physician recruitment and selection policies, procedures and employment laws to candidates and hiring managers. Extends job offers and coordinates salary, letter of intent and contract negotiations, following the candidate through the entire process. Ensure new hire pre-boarding processes are complete (i.e. drug screens, criminal background checks, reference checks, education verifications, employee health screens, I-9). In addition to the standard pre-boarding process, Physician Recruiter will conduct online searches, query databases and verify licensure to vet candidates for consideration. Serves as an ambassador for the new physicians and candidates by being a liaison between the physician and Division Dyad Leadership, Practice Leadership, Medical Staff Services, Credentialing, Employee Health, Lee Professional Billing, Business Development, Physician Contracting and Physician Compensation. Proactively and extensively, plans for the formal site visit for the physician candidate and their families.
Education:
Bachelors degree required.
Experience:
Three to five years direct recruiting experience required. Physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider recruitment-related experience preferred. Business, sales, pharmaceutical, educational and other healthcare recruitment experience can be considered. Must have knowledge of healthcare recruiting and healthcare operations. Extensive knowledge of principles and practice of recruitment administration including, but not limited to report preparation, creation of spreadsheets, database information input and maintenance, creation of marketing tools such as flyers, brochures, etc. Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. required.

Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents. Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks and responsibilities. Ability to work after normal business hours as required to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
This position is an on-site position in Fort Myers, FL. Remote or hybrid-remote work is not available for this position.
