Pool - Parking EnforcementRequisition IDreq1470Employment TypeCasual EmployeePosition SummaryStarting Salary: $17.00 per hour Hours of Work: Two shifts available per campus (9am-1pm and 3pm-8pm ) at Cascade, Sylvania, Rock Creek and Southeast 4 to 5 days a week, 16-20 hours per week. Maximum of 599 hours per school year. Scheduled breaks and summers off.Responsibilities/Duties:
- Enforce parking policies, rules and regulations outdoors
- Booting vehicles
- Provide technical information and assistance to students, staff and the public
- Performs other related duties as assignedCandidate Profile & Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentMust have and maintain a valid driver’s license for operation of motor vehicle, along with an acceptable driving recordMust be able to pass a personal and criminal history background checkMust have good interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skillsMust have the ability to maintain accurate records and convey technical information to students, staff and the publicHave basic knowledge of computer navigation or applicationsPhysical Requirements: This position requires the ability to operate standard office machines and the ability to stand and walk for long periods in all types of weather. Occasional lifting, guiding and/or carrying of medium materials may be required.Work Environment: Work is performed both indoors and outside in various types of weather. Uses a variety of office software applications. Work pressure, disturbances of work flow, and/or irregularities in work schedule are expected and occur on an intermittent basis. This is a journey level position where incumbents work independently under general supervision and is not a Public Safety position.
